The Boutique Hotelier Awards winners for 2023 were announced at a glittering live ceremony in London on Monday 16 October 2023.
The awards took place at the Chelsea Harbour Hotel following months of anticipation, with 15 awards handed out in total.
Close to 300 hoteliers and hotel suppliers gathered to see the winners being unveiled and were treated to a Champagne reception and a three-course dinner.

The evening saw hotels from a cross-section of the UK win big, ranging from country manor houses to seaside resorts. Properties in the Cotswolds, the Lake District and Bournemouth all scooped awards during the celebration.
The evening began with a passionate speech from our charity partner Room to Reward and a raffle which included fabulous prizes such as an overnight stay for two at The Nici in Bournemouth.
Raffle donations on the night raised an incredible £3,500. Hoteliers were first invited to submit nominations for the awards in August, with three shortlists – decided by Boutique Hotelier’s in-house editorial experts – announced in September.
The public was then invited to vote for their favourite hotels, teams and individuals from the shortlists. More than 16,000 votes were cast before the deadline of midnight on 9 October 2023.
There were 15 award categories in total, ranging from Best Interior Hotel Renovation to General Manager of the Year.
The Lifetime Achievement Award was the only category not subject to a public vote and was instead decided entirely by Boutique Hotelier’s editorial team.
Zoe Monk, senior editor and Eamonn Crowe, editor at Boutique Hotelier comment: “The Boutique Hotelier Awards have grown exponentially since first launching three years ago and are always a celebration of innovative ideas and best practice in the UK’s boutique hotel industry. Hoteliers continue to face tough challenges, but we wanted tonight to be a celebration of those teams and individuals that have responded to these challenges with vigour and pragmatism, continuing to inspire both their hotel guests and fellow staff.”
