Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park in London is sprinkling some Christmas magic with added Bavarian flair this festive season, with the unveiling of The Winterhaus.
The whimsically-designed space takes inspiration from a Bavarian chalet and ambiance of a classic Southern German ‘stube’, complete with fireplace and a menu of German treats, in homage to the hotel’s sister property in Munich.

Complete with its own bar, ‘The Winterhaus’ offers a range of drinks, with Krug Champagne and Munich-based, NOAM beer as the stars of the show.
A sculpted cuckoo clock will take centre stage, surprising guests with a range of gifts throughout the day, from drinks to treats and special experiences at the hotel.

Every Saturday in the lead up to Christmas, children are invited to join the hotel’s pastry chefs for a gingerbread decorating experience.
Also on offer is the Season’s Sparkle experience, complete with tickets to Hyde Park Winter Wonderland and the Little Ranger experience, targeting families with personalised gifts from baby brand My 1st Years.
The German-inspired theme will continue with festive treats on offer in each of the hotel’s restaurants and bars.
Also new for this year, guests can purchase their own Christmas bauble, designed bespoke for Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London by bauble painter Tom Martin.
