Templeton Garden, the first UK hotel from new lifestyle brand Miiro, has announced the appointment of Nicola James to the role of general manager.
In her new role, James will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Templeton Garden’s upcoming opening in April, including shaping the guest experience and curating the hotel’s F&B spaces.
James joins Templeton Garden from her most recent position as general manager at Holmes Hotel, located on Marylebone’s Chiltern Street. Prior to this, James was deputy general manager at Charlotte Street Hotel in Fitzrovia and Covent Garden Hotel, both part of the Firmdale portfolio.
Speaking about her appointment, James commented: “I am thrilled to be joining the Miiro team at a time of expansion for the brand, what we have at Templeton Garden is an incredibly unique space in London. I am honoured to be here from the very beginning, to be building a passionate team and to be playing a part in shaping the property’s future.”
Templeton Garden will be situated in Earls Court and home to 156 rooms. The hotel will also feature a cafe-meets-deli, a modern British restaurant and a cocktail bar, plus a state-of-the-art gym and a Refresh Room, a Miiro signature feature.
Templeton Garden will follow Miiro’s recent property launches; Le Grand Hotel Cayre in Paris, Borneta in Barcelona, and The Mansard in Gstaad, which all opened in 2024.
Future openings for Miiro include Miiro Palais in autumn 2025 and Miiro Maria Theresia in winter 2025.
