Anthony Cox, general manager at Danesfield House, has been announced as the new general manager at countryside destination, Thyme.
Moving to his new position in January, Cox brings with a wealth of experience from management roles at the likes of Bailbrook House, The Vineyard Hotel and Danesfield House and Spa Illuminata in London’s Mayfair where he has been since 2013.
Thyme is a collection of restored 17th century farm buildings, houses and cottages situated on the Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire border, owned by Caryn Hibbert.
The ‘village’ comprises a Meadow Spa, the newly-launched Ox Barn restaurant, 31 bedrooms, a cookery school, the Baa Bar and The Swan Pub.
The last year has seen significant investment into the site and Cox’s appointment marks the next stage of development at Thyme.
