The ‘village’ comprises a Meadow Spa, the newly-launched Ox Barn restaurant, 31 bedrooms, a cookery school, the Baa Bar and The Swan Pub.

The last year has seen significant investment into the site and Cox’s appointment marks the next stage of development at Thyme.

Anthony  Cox,  general  manager  at  Thyme  comments: “Thyme  has  very  clearly  been  a  labour  of  love  over  the  last  15  years  with  the  Hibberts  working  with  the  historic  buildings  and  the  farm  that  surrounds  them  to  create  a  thoughtful  place  with  love  and  attention  lavished  on  every  detail.  I  am  very  excited to  be  joining  the  team  and  working  alongside  Caryn Hibbert  to  help  take  the  business  onto  its  next  stage.  I  hope  to  continue  to  provide  guests  at  Thyme  with  a  home  away  from  home  experience.”

Caryn  Hibbert,  founder  and  creative  director, Thyme  comments: “We  have  huge  admiration  for  Anthony  Cox’s  wealth  of  experience  not  only  in  hospitality  but  also  in  luxury  brands. He  brings  with  him  not  only  experience  but  energy  and  ideas  and  I  look  forward  to  working  with  him.”
