Business management solutions company Premier Software and British luxury skincare brand Temple Spa have partnered in a bid to use face masks to tackle mental health problems among spa staff.

As part of Premier Software’s ‘The Core of Wellbeing’ campaign, the company is releasing a dual-branded skincare mask, called ‘The Contourist’, in partnership with Temple Spa.

Premier Software account managers will be hand-delivering the complementary product to its clients in the leisure and spa industry.

The company says that it is of the utmost importance for spa workers to look after their own mental health, because they increasingly must act as therapist to customers.

For some spa employees, the problems of their clients can become their own mental burden to bear, with Premier Software pointing out that 17.5% of sick days in the UK are attributed to mental health.

It hopes that its facemasks will provide spa staff with a way to relax and take a moment for themselves.

Leonie Wileman, chief operations officer at Premier Software, commented: “Once a taboo subject, the awareness of mental health issues has now been brought into focus. It is important for everyone to look after their mental wellbeing.

“We hope that by providing this gift to our clients, they will be reminded to take care of themselves whilst taking care of others.”

Premier Software has spent 25 years developing management solutions specifically for the spa, wellness and leisure industries. Its software offers a complete business overview at the touch of a button.
