A new head chef has been appointed at The Alexandra Hotel & Restaurant in Lyme Regis.
Chris Chatfield joins the 23-bedroom hotel and Ammonite restaurant with a wealth of experience, including roles at Celtic Manor in Wales and The Horn of Plenty.
He started his career at The Langdon Court Hotel in his hometown of Plymouth.
He has already introduced a new menu for the Alexandra, championing the best of Dorset produce in the new Local to Lyme selection.
Ammonite is open daily for lunch and dinner and is situated in the new Orangery, which was completed in 2018.
Chatfield also oversees the Alexandra Hotel & Restaurant afternoon tea on the terrace or if preferred in one of the restaurants.
